CEM vocab

Hi. My dd is sitting the new style cem test in Gloucestershire in September. I understand that a good vocabulary is vital for the new test. Can anyone suggest a good general vocab list that they have used as am not sure where to start! My dd is a good reader, but some of the vocab in the books seems bizarre to say the least! Any help very very much appreciated thanks.

Have a look in the sticky at the top of the Birmingham thread - actually have a look at various threads in Birmingham and Warwickshire as there are loads of hints and tips about CEM including a very long list of words used!

Bizarre?? Can you please give some examples.
