Hello,
My son is appearing for Csse in september ,CEM for Reading and around and then QE,Barnet in Sept . All of these exams are different in terms of the exam providers.
Are there any books or practice papers i must do specific for each of them.
All suggestions vital and appreciated.

This section should help.

http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/schools/regions" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also look in the section for each school (you have put this in "English" which probably isn't the best place) - you will findloads of information & help. Presumably you are prepared to move to wherever you son is succesful? The advice on here will be to think about other local schools (primary/secondary) for any siblings that there may be. Where are you currently based? Are there no good schools?

That will be too late I'm afraid.
Rules on catchment have changed is year and it is your address when you apply to take the test (ie before or on June 20th) that is taken has your address. Moving after you get the test results will not make any difference any more, you will still be counted as not being in catchment.

In previous years, no one from outside catchment has got a place as far as I know.

Reading application date is already gone.

For Slough,
1) Langley grammar has a catchment area. Check their website for post code list.
2) For St. Bernards there is a religion criteria. I am not too sure how it works. Their website should have this.
3) For Herschel Grammar and Upton court, there are some places for in catchment applicants and some for OOC applicants. Their websites have the exact numbers.

As Berks Mum says you need to check their websites. I know nothing much about Slough school admissions. They were never on our radar..just thought it was best to tell you about Reading.
