Kept all the Hayden Richards from when the boys were prepared for the 11+, 8 yrs ago. Are they still worth using to prepare DD who's in yr 5, for the 2 stage exams ?

Not sure which area your 11 plus is for. A friend of mine how DIY'd her DC last year for CSSE recommended the Hayden books especially for short comprehension and quick exercises. I think Year 5 would be Book 3.

Absolutely yes. These are excellent books. Expensive to buy as well. DG
