A good read

My Daughter loved reading the Charlie Bone series by Jenny Nimmo,The books are a bit like Harry Potter but quicker to read.She is looking foreward to reading book 5 which has just come out.

It was written ages ago, but my daughter is currently addicted to the Joan Aiken series, beginning with The Wolves of Willoughby Chase.

My year 6 daughter has the following recommendations,given to me last night when I showed her the recommendations from everybody else which she thought were really interesting.She reads all the time and loves fantasy.She loathes anything with a sad ending or that's too gritty or trying to be trendy.
