Hello everyone, and bit silly question but which ishould the best dictionary for my dd, as most of the words which I come across are never there in the dictionary and I have to Google and I find it difficult to explain to my dd as it's not child friendly language. If someone can guide me which one should I buy.
Any feedback is highly appreciated.

The Oxford English dictionary will have all the words that you are likely to encounter in English.

The smaller one will be fine. You can pick this up in Smiths or Waterstones or any bookshop.

Any larger charity shop that stocks books will have it for one or two pounds or you can have it delivered next day delivery from Amazon.

Are these words that are coming up in English or in CEM? DG
