Help with spelling rule question
Please can some one help me with this spelling rule question.
What spelling rule do these words follow?
Baker, Striding, Sparkled, Shiny
I will be really grateful if you can explain the spelling rule to me as well so that I can explain to my DC. My DC is in year 4 and we are working on Schofield and Simms English skills book.
thank you

Re: Help with spelling rule question
Drop the e (bake, stride, sparkle, shine) before adding the new ending?
Otherwise they don't seem to have much in common.
