Reading Comprehension

Post by fardigar »

Hi. First time poster. Can reading comp questions be answered very succinctly, in non-complete sentences? For example could the question "How do we know the sailor is worried?" be answered "Because his brow was furrowed."; "We know/know this because..."; "We know he was worried because..."? Or would it have to be "We know the sailor is worried because..."? Thank you

You should always write in complete sentences unless instructed otherwise. It inculcates good habits from an early age, apart from anything else.

Answers should be as detailed as possible, showing that the text has been read closely.

Writing a few words is unlikely to reflect the detail that will be in the mark scheme. DG
