11+ books for creative writing

Hello friends,

I'm trying to help my DD with creative writing. She is reading lots of books but I want her to practice writing: stories, essay, instructions. I've noticed there are no Bond or CGP or such books for teaching writing... I'm trying to teach her myself so can someone recommend any suitable books for teaching "creative" writing.

Creative Writing is not something that can be taught although your DD can practice different topics. Isn't your DD's school covering this as part of the standard curriculum? If were in your position, I would be inclined to speak to her English teacher in school (well, actually I did just that and the teacher was very positive about it).

For books, The FPTP series has a book for Creative Writing with examples. Maybe this will be of some help!!
