I need help to answer Q12 on the 2014 Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' school Engish Paper, below is the link to the paper if anyone can help, please. I am struggling with this one and have searched on here but this paper has not been covered.

I think it’s because he is an artist and expresses himself through his art. Had he been able to express himself using words there would be no need to use art as a medium.

This is my understanding of it though.
