Is this another example of our much-maligned primary being unfairly looked down upon? Just checked with DS2 as to whether he ever did comprehension exercises there, before they started cramming for KS2 SATs - and got the answer, 'Yes, all the time'.
Schooling123, what does your DS's school advise? You may just be confusing him. And even more, at this point, if you try to implement any or all the suggestions us out here on t'web may come up with...?
