AE Vocab and Spelling books 1-12

Hi there

I am seeking to prepare my kids for the 11+ in Berks/Bucks. Are the AE Publication Books (1-12) enough to cover the 11+ for English. I ask this, naively, as the books 1-12 titles indicate that just vocab and spelling are dealt with. Does that means that these books do not cover, Essays, Comprehension, Grammar and Puntuation?

Any feedback from someone who has used these successfully with their children would be appreciated.
