I would sort of expect there to be two waiting lists. One for the ‘normal’ 96 places and one for the extra 32 places (where the P1 comes into play. However I’m not sure what they are going to do with that and there’s no mention of it in the admissions either.

And yes it’s very quiet. There’s no posts at all on the Reading allocations thread.

I don't think they are having two waiting list. It looks like it is one waiting list and looks like P1 students will get priority over P2 students :( I have no idea how is that possible though.

In previous years the KPS organise a parents contact list for those happy to be on it. I’m not sure if they still do this, but hopefully they do. You will be able to see if anyone else is form your area that way.

I wouldn’t expect that many to be coming from Basingstoke though.

The WL has moved three places according to the school web site.

https://www.kendrick.reading.sch.uk/pag ... 20&pid=171" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Normally it’s about half a dozen places (sometimes a little more, sometimes less).

Where is your DD on the WL?

I’m sorry to say this. Historically it hasn’t moved anywhere near that much, certainly not since the 2013 entry. I suspect in the current climate it would not be much different this year either (I suspect some of those that would be declining kendrick to go private maybe less likely to do.)

Are you happy with your allocation?

HI
MY DD Got a place in nonsuch.
But her score in Kendrick is 113.82..so little hope.
That's why i asked weather anyone in p2 got a place.
In Kendrick website they mentioned WL moved by 3 places..but didn't mention weather it is in 96 seats or extra 32 seats.
Many Thanks

I’m not sure how they are operating the WL. Tbh it’s highly unlikely to move 28 places.

I’d focus on Nonsuch. Iirc you will need to move? Possibly difficult in the current circumstances.
