Dear Julia
I hope your postman turns up soon. I know how you are feeling as I was the same this morning. Our chosen school is Herschel. I have to say i am still a tad anxious as it has become a popular school and with a score of 112, may have to go on a waiting list.

Rochelle I don't think you will have to go on waiting list? A pass is a pass is a pass! If the predicted 1 in 4 make the grade for Slough schools then surely all those that pass will get into their first choice school? There are no 'criteria' for Slough schools other than St Bernards which wants 'evidence of faith'. I wouldn't worry.

I have no idea what he is doing. To be fair he does normally come here at about 2 o'clock, but I was hoping he was aware of the significance of the date and get his skates on. Maybe having another 500 letters to post in Slough caused the whole system to collapse!?

I may be forced to do housework at this rate. Not good.

My son has got 114.He got a bit nervous during his exams and left 12 -14 questions without ticking any boxes.I put Langley as the first choice and Herschel second. What are his chances at Langley?
Thanks

112 would have got your son into Herschel last year (so I am told). I believe there were some that scored 111 that were on the waiting list. I don't know how many were not offered.

A long wait to March....... calls for another gin & tonic. Keep sane.

Thank you for all the good wishes. No more worries for a while anyway. We got the result. 128!!!. Well pleased with it. My son doesn't know yet. I can't wait to pick him up and to give him big hugs and kisses. He has done us proud.

Good luck to everyone who is waiting. Thinking of you JuliaB.
I will be back in a couple of hours. Busy with work.

worried (not for now).
