If you must drive arrive silly early and park in Queens Road multi- storey. The IDR one way sytem makes changes of plans and directions very hard.stressedparent wrote:Hi to all,

We are getting the bus in and I will drive back at mid-day and park, if I can find a space for a 1-2 pm collection.
The roads around Reading/Kendrick will be grid locked in the morning, if you want to avoid stress don't drive.
Good luck to all of the above Reading/Kendrick hopefuls.

Good Luck stressedparent!
I agree with Steve. The parking in and around Kendrick will be a nightmare, unless you arrive extremely early. Park (at queens), drop, then shop whilst waitng. Sounds like a sound idea.

Dropped off, got the early bus so had to wait around a bit, DS started to babble a sign of nerves.
Marched back across town, a bit of occupational therapy, better than stuck on a bus.
Now clock watching will be on the second paper......ohhh I do hope......
OT how do they allocate the sittings at Kendrick? I think we would prefer early as it keeps to school day routine and gets it out of the way.
Looking forward to the collection and ritual burning of old papers.
