raw scores for slough consortium

Post by hasmum »

Hi,
Sorry this question has probably been asked before, but just wanted to know what would the raw scores be roughly for slough consortium to pass and if 80% is =111 what would 84% be = to in the real exam. Hope Im making sense, my ds got 84% in his mocks, the vr was out of 85 and the nvr was out of 70, so is different to real exam, which I believe is both out of 80. Basically want to know what would eg 116 be = to in %. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Really difficult question to answer as the scores achieved are age standardised against the cohort that took the test.
You can find some more info and links on standardisation here

I never had my son's raw scores only his standardised score out of 141.
There have been some discussions reference how well children were doing in practice papers against their score.
For instance my son was achieving between 85 -95% in NVR and got about 120 in his NVR test.
Hope that helps :)
