How is everyone getting on regarding timing the NVR papers?
Hi,
We were not timing each section up till recently, ds did it well in 40- 50 mins when doing whole paper, but just about finishes when timing each section i.e 12q in 6 mins, then guesses when final min or two.
I am concerned re slough NVR as 20q in 10 mins.
It would of been good if slough also did what Tiffins did yesterday, 80q in 50 mins, no stopping and starting, ds said it was difficult but tried to work out each one and finished 1 min before end.
Anyway good Luck to all taking in Slough, let me know how you are getting on regarding timing each section on the NVR papers.

We are Slough too, having to guess last couple which unfortunately is bringing the score down.

We found eliminating the wrong answers first tends to help, then working out from the remaining 2 or so. Its definately tough 20q in 10 mins. My ds had a mock in July at his tuition centre with each section timed 12q in 6 mins, he said he got nervous and guessed alot, got 44/60. Second mock end of October again timed got 52/60 which was much better. He is far better on the VR (thank god). Will keep on the practice!
