Exam Timings Slough Consortium
I am really confused (and have read so many different things that I now cannot remember what is true and what I may have dreamt ...)
Is the following correct?
The papers are each 50 minutes long
There are 80 questions on each paper - 4 sections with 20 questions in each section.
So - what actually happens at the end of each section? at the beginning of section 1, do the children get 2 minutes to read and do the example, then 8 minutes to complete the section? If they complete the section early, can they then move onto the next section?
Or do they just get told they have 50 minutes to complete the whole test?
I am positive I have read about this somewhere, but simply cannot find it!
many thanks for your help.

Re: Exam Timings Slough Consortium
Hi,
The VR is 80qs in 50 mins (whole test in 50 mins) no break.
The NVR is 20qs in 10 mins. After each section they have a few practice qs.
So it is 4 sections x 10 mins, with a break between each section, total 80qs in 50 mins. My ds took the slough exam in Nov.
Are you planning for next year or are you a late sitter?
