Reading welcome evening
Anyone going on 2nd May? I am waiting very impatiently!
Also, a question for the veterans - I was wondering whether there would be any uniform (secondhand or new) available to buy that evening? I don't think it mentioned it on the letter, but I put the date in my diary and then threw the letter away so can't check!
(There was lots of stuff on sale at the Kendrick welcome evening - complete scrum though. I managed to get all of d1's PE kit secondhand, so was rather chuffed. There were also calculators, dictionaries and new uniform to buy if you wanted - I remember one girl clearly hadn't been able to make it, so her twin brother was being made to try on trousers for her )

I am going on the 2nd. Nothing in the letter about uniform's shop on the day.
Re: Reading welcome evening
Just had an email, bear in mind uniform and PE kit have changed in recent years, always worth a look for spares boys do seem to lose a lot of items.Reminder to all parents: The Uniform Shop will be open this Friday (20 April) from 2.30 to 3.45pm and Saturday (21 April) from 9.30 to 11am.
