11+ tutor for daughter - urgent!!!
Hi
We just moved over from Southeast Asia end of last year. My girl is in yr 5 now and we just found out about the 11plus exams about a month ago. We have tried DIY, but my girl doesn't seem very motivated. Can anyone recommend a good tutor or tuition centre where the tutor is able to motivate the students? From reading the posts here, it seems parents start years in advance of the exams .... Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
btw... we are trying for Kendrick.
Thank you!

I hope you find someone to help you but I fear it might be too late to find a decent tutor. Round here they seem to be handed down like family heirlooms. You may just need to focus on DIY. There is a lot of helpful info on here.
Maybe try enthusing her at the open afternoon on 5th July?
We are also trying for Kendrick on 1st October but are doing DIY all the way.
Good luck

Thank you, Reading Mum. I'll definitely take her to the open house. And good luck to you too.
