If we live in hillingdon which is the best GS to put first on list.

Hi Sofia,

I'm not in Berkshire so don't really know the system, but I see you have posted the same question a few times and thought I would try and answer. My understanding is that the Slough grammar schools allocate quite a lot of their places on scores (ie highest scores) and then the rest on the pass mark plus distance. As you are in South Ruislip you would be fairly far down that list. I don't know anything about the indiviual schools and whether they usually have spare places, but I would suggest you put an acceptable school that you know your DC would get into as your last choice (ie a local one), otherwise you could be allocated somewhere completely unacceptable to you.
