Tried trawling through the forums and foudn a million posts but none that is specific...basically, just want to know what the pass mark for rntry was for this last year? I know for Sep '12 entry was 109 for Kendrick but no idea what happened this year?

I also have a son so would be interested in pass mark for Reading Boys if that is available...

For last year the closest DD with a score of 113 got a place but others with 113 did not. I have a vague memory that there were over 60 (68?) girls who scored at least 109 and were in the designated area who were on the waiting list. The waiting list only move 1 place in the end. I think the year before, where everyone with 109+ who wanted a place got one, was unusual.

The 109 figure is a constant - if you score below that, you won't get a place. Then it's just done in order (within the designated area) - top 96 get offered a place. If somehow there are less than 96 scoring above 109 in the DA (highly unlikely), girls outside the DA will start being offered places, again, from the top down.

For Reading School, there are only marks available from last year. Last year's letter apparently said cut-off was 336, but I can't find many actual results - 343 was the lowest one in the year before we think, probably similar last year.
