THe following gives the Slough 11+ Test information...

Slough Consortium 11+ tests
Langley Grammar School is part of an 11+ testing consortium with Herschel Grammar School, Slough Grammar School, and St Bernard’s Catholic Grammar School; this is a shared examination process with the four schools using the same examination papers for Non Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning tests.

The new Admissions Code became law on 1 February 2012. Schools now have a duty to inform parents of the outcome of admissions tests before the deadline for submission of the Common Application Form on 31 October in any given year. All 11+ testing, marking and standardisation must therefore be completed in order for results to be notified to parents before 31 October.

Format of the 11+ test
The Consortium 11+ test consists of two separate multiple choice papers.
a) Non-Verbal Reasoning (NVR)
80 questions in 40 minutes - four sets of 20 questions each lasting 10 mins (an average of
30 secs each question)
There is a worked example and 2 or 3 practice questions before each section of 10 minutes
and an opportunity for the pupils to ask questions for clarification. There are no time
warnings during each section. The whole paper takes about 50 minutes.
b) Verbal Reasoning (VR)
80 questions in 50 mins. This is challenging, and is common for pupils to run out of time and
not finish all the questions. Time warnings are given at 25 and 45 minutes.
ALL questions on both papers are multiple choice. Pupils indicate their answers on an answer
sheet. Rough paper is provided

Thanks for the reply, i thought they had changed the format and introduced maths into this also as threy felt pupils were revising to pass the exams and heavily being tutored rather than understanding

but thanks for the reply, so its baisically VR AND NVR

Sorry, my detailed knowledge is now 8 years old..... I would ring the school and ask what proof of address is needed. It used to be in the exam information paperwork.
