Hi,

Does anybody have an idea of which position on the waiting lists for Slough grammar schools would be good to secure a place?

Thanks,
Prj.

Sorry Prj, it depends on the criteria...... both Upton and Herschel have a separate distance criteria, as well as the 'score achieved' criteria. Langley is easier as it is mainly allocated on 'score'.
You can see some historical scores at this link

Please be aware that in recent years the distance criteria has been applied for some of the intake which has skewed the statistics.

I thought Langley just had an admissions area and based offers on rank order within that area, Herschel offers (approx) 70 by rank order and the remaining 50 based on achieving 111 and distance from school, Upton is (approx) 100 by rank order and 45 based on achieving 111 and distance from school.
