Incorrect name on the slough results letter!!!!

Thanks Earleyparents, that was comforting! As you say, it's a stressful time anyway and we could really have done without this piece of drama.

Hopefully all will be cleared up tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest. I am going to see if I can speak to an admissions officer tomorrow and in the meantime keep my fingers crossed that the score we received matched the name, not the address.
Although I'm going to have some trouble accepting whatever score is in the next letter as correct now.

I hope the next letter is suitably apologetic - I'd like whoever was responsible to at least acknowledge the upset they've clearly caused quite a few families. The Kendrick website announcement doesn't exactly go very far towards that...

I've been around for a while now and it really takes a lot to get me wound up!

I can also tell you the score we received for my daughter does not reflect her ability or attainment levels at all. If required, we have concrete proof to back up our claims she is much more capable than the score she was given against someone else's name yesterday.

Please disregard anything you hear or read until you hear from Kendrick yourselves. I'm not worried at all about Dd's future prospects but stand with you in disbelief and anger towards the Slough authorities.

Well, we got our CORRECT letters this morning and the scores bear no resemblance to the incorrect one which we received yesterday, thank goodness! DD passed after all!
