Nearing the end ... (well, the first end anyway!)

DD1 (at Kendrick) was offered a place at Oxford this week, so it must be well over 7 years since I joined this place  :D

Thanks to the oldies for all the support and discussion over the years, and good luck to all the newbies - secondary school is an awfully big adventure, hope you and your kids enjoy it :)

I don't check in here much any more, not having a clue about the new entrance tests, and being rather busier than I used to be, lol, but I still do from time to time, and I will always answer pm's if anyone has any questions (I don't have any younger girls at Kendrick, but have a son in y9 at Reading, so I might be able to be informative about RS) or wants to contact me that way.

This website, and the Berkshire forum in particular, has been a massive help to me and kept me sane at times I think! Long may it continue :)

I've read many of your words of wisdom, so many thanks and please don't disappear from here.

Good luck with the next stage in your DD's educational career! (may I ask what she'll be reading at Oxford?)
