Kid received good number for Slough (131) but is also appearing for Tiffins Boys second stage .
Can someone suggest between two schools - which one is better performance wise?

I am interested to know if the teacher quality and facility difference between the two school helps the kids achieve more?
Will he have more chance to get into Top Russel University / A* if in Tiffins Boys against Langley?

What impression did you and your DS get of the schools when you visited then? Which teachers seemed the most open and informative?

The schools' websites or prospectus supplements will usually have details of leavers' destinations. Please remember, though, that a good school will help its pupils achieve places on the courses which most suit their aims and interests, at institutions which are the best places for them to study. Not everyone wants to be a doctor or go to Oxford or Cambridge etc, and 'the best' university is not necessarily the best for a given course .

Details of the value added by the school for a given year's cohort can be found on the DfE website. There you can see how the different sub-cohorts (those who entered the school with middle or high attainment at KS2 - unlikely to be any who left primary at less than level 4) fared at the end of their time at the school.

if you're looking for statistics - ToadMum has provided the details.

Regarding opinion and views on the 2 schools, most will be subjective as it will be their perception or experience. Suggest you weigh the fitment of the school to your childs needs based on your 1st hand visit experience.

Also, since you are looking at these two schools and they are not close to each other you might wish to consider your travel time which is significant to your child enjoying after school activities.
