We really liked it when my dd and I went around there at their open morning recently.
They test to see what kind of learner your dc is, to see how best they can help them learn.
In one lesson that we saw (the kids were working on problems), some of them had headphones on which were playing background music, to cancel out the general classroom hubbub and help them concentrate.
It's the school that my DD wants to go to (it's on the top of her CAF). Of course, having a really large sports hall plus *two* libraries doesn't hurt as far as she's concerned
I will add that we're practising Catholics so it also makes a lot of sense to us.
