Cleared Langley exam

Post by Guest007 »

My son passed Langely exam. He scored 120. Though the pass mark is 117, I heard that, the seats are given on rank basis. Does anyone knows whether we can hope to get the seat in Langley for this score?

Congrats to all the kids who passed the exam.

Hi guest My son took Bucks and Berks. Failed Bucks with 119 passed Berks with 118. Son thought VR was harder for Bucks but they have 5 additional question types so this could be the reason. My son's stronger subject is Maths. Sue.

Langley PASS MARK

Post by wraysburymum »

According to the deputy head at Langley's open day, last year they initally offered places to children with 120+. Then 117+. The lowest entry score was evidently 115 to a very few children living within walking distance. So although the pass mark is 111, I think a "safe" score needs to be over 117 by last years' reckoning.
My envelope from Langley sitting on the side waiting for daughter.
Hope this more cut and dry than Bucks! We were 120 there and appealing.

Good luck everyone, hope to post some good news later (but I doubt it!)

My Son Passed Slough Consortium

Post by dinoo »

Congrates to Everyone......
My Son Passed with flying colours of 139 for Slough Consortium. This does not make any difference as he has already achieved 141 for Bucks and Bucks Grammar was our 1st preference. Hope he does well on Slough one as well. Once again Many Thanks to all those on this forums who been sharing their experience and knowledge with others
