Re: Langley Grammer-Local and General admission Areas
for the score of 118 (range 52-138) for 2017 entry, being in general admission area, what are the realistic chances for getting into langley grammar. Last yr geneal admission area cut off was 125, but this year no of places have increased to 180.

For public transport I'd suggest using google maps with your postcode and the postcode of the school you are interested in. You'll need to adjust the time to suit, but it should give you various options and the time it will take.

And don't forget to adjust the search for an arrival time in good time for registration, rather than a departure time to fit with the time your DC would like to get up .Tinkers wrote:Spurzdon wrote:Any information on transport for each of the Birkshire schools? Not sure if everybody is aware of this but I just realised that Langley admissions are under consultation about having a 3 tier catchment area. Its stated as below. I am guessing that anybody who lives in the Priority 3 area has little chance of getting in!
The School’s Priority Admissions Areas are defined using postcodes as follows:
Priority Area 1 (Inner) SL3 7, SL3 8, SL3 9, SL3 0
Priority Area 2 (Outer) SL0, SL1, SL2, SL3 (outside Area 1), SL4
TW18, TW19, TW20
UB3, UB4, UB7, UB8, UB10
Priority Area 3 (General) SL5, SL6, SL7, SL8, SL9
TW3, TW4, TW5, TW7, TW13, TW14, TW15
UB1, UB2, UB5, UB6, UB9
HA1, HA2, HA3, HA4, HA5, HA6
W5, W7, W13
