Selection to Herschel Grammar School

My daughter scored 114 in the Slough consortium. We live 2.0 miles from Herschel Grammar School. Is it a good idea to put HGS as choice number 1 on the CAF (the reason being my elder child is a student there) ? Please advise.

Is Herschel your first choice? If so put it first, if other schools are preferred, put them higher.

If that is the school you want your DC to go to then it is definitely a good idea to put it on the CAF, in 1st place if it is yur first place school and so on.
