Their one subsequent post mentioned a the possibility of a company called Fargo which might have been willing to accommodate them.

I cannot believe a slough GS which requires being on a coach at 6:56am is a better option than one of the excellent Wokingham schools on the doorstep. Some parents need to take a step back and think about what they are signing their poor kids up for. A bright child will do well wherever they go and will do a lot better if they are not knackered.
A friend’s lad didn’t get in to Reading at 11, did really well at Bulmershe and the joined Reading for 6th form on the strength of his GCSEs
