How to apply for 11 plus exam if you live in other county

Post by Fido »

Hi. I want my DD to give 11 plus test in Reading too but we live in Bucks county. If anyone can help me with details about how to register for 11 plus exam in Berkshire if you live in other county, would appreciate.

It shouldn't make any difference to actually applying for the test. You should still be able to register regardless.

However please note. It is very unlikely your DD will get a place if you are outside of catchment. To count as being in catchment you will need to have moved into catchment by the end of August before the test. There will not be the option to move in later as you will still be counted as being OOC.
No OOC girls have got places since a catchment was introduced.

Please check here to see if you are in catchment.

I'd agree with Tinkers. Your DD doesn't stand a chance if you aren't living in the designated area.
