Hi All,
I have heard from multiple sources that the catchment area for Kendrick is changing or there are proposed catchment changes being planned?

Does anyone have more info on this?

thank you in advance.

Not heard a thing about it.

There has been a campaign for a few years locally to try and reduce the catchment area size.

Catchment was only recently brought in. The current year 11s were the first year to have a catchment.
TBH given the addresses I have for year 11, 2/3 live in Reading, or only just over the border in Wokingham (Earley, Woodley, Winnnersh etc). Not many come from the outer reaches of catchment, so I don't think it will really make a big difference. Unless year 11 is very different to other years.

Any changes to admissions need to go to consultantion and there are set times this has to happen according to the admissions code. Most schools issue a draft for consultation just before Christmas and consultant ends about the end of February. Final version is usually issued about April.
