I suspect the Slough schools admissions pages will have that info.
You can (hopefully) find the links to the various admissions pages here.

Thanks for the link Tinkers

neo1232 wrote:Priority Area 1 comprises postcode areas SL3 7, SL3 8, SL3 0 and SL3 9. SL3 7 and SL3 8 are the postcode areas surrounding the school, covering the great majority of the Langley area. SL3 0 covers the area of Colnbrook and Poyle, which is also part of the Borough of Slough. SL3 9 includes the Datchet area. These postcode areas include all the primary schools (maintained schools, academies and free schools) in Langley, Datchet, Colnbrook and Poyle.
Priority Area 2 includes postcodes covering SL0, SL1, SL2, the remainder of SL3, SL4, TW18, TW19 and TW20. UB3, UB4, UB7, UB8 and UB10 are also in this outer area.
Priority Area 3 includes SL5, SL6, SL7, SL8 and SL9; TW3, TW4, TW5, TW7, TW13, TW14 and TW15; UB1, UB2, UB5, UB6 and UB9; HA1, HA2, HA3, HA4, HA5 and HA6; W5, W7 and W13; RG12 and RG42.
The school routinely has more applicants for entry than it has places available. The over-subscription criteria give first priority to applicants with a permanent home address within the local Priority Area 1, who have achieved the eligibility of score of 111 in the 11+ entrance examination. Available places are then prioritised for applicants living in Priority Area 2, and allocated according to the remaining criteria of:
Eligibility for Pupil Premium funding
Children of permanent members of staff
Rank order of performance in the examination
After all eligible applicants from Priority Areas 1 and 2 have been considered, any remaining places will be allocated to children living in Priority Area 3 in rank order of performance in the 11+ examination.
From this wording , it looks like if you are in Area 1 and 2 you just need to score more then 111 and you have more priority over Area 3 even that person has scored max (for example 135). of course only thing we do not know right now is that how many candidates from Area 1 and Area 2 will put LGS in CAF form.

Thanks neo1232 for the details.
Re: Slough results 2017 (2018 entry)
My ds got score of 131. Is there any chance of ooc student with that score getting langley gramnar school, through waiting list some time after allocations day? The school will afterall need to keep the PAN numbers fulfilled, for funding reasons?
Re: Slough results 2017 (2018 entry)
Since Langley have changed their admissions this year it will be a wait and see I think.
Re: Slough results 2017 (2018 entry)
MontyUd - 131 is really strong score but I have doubt that Langley can work - I am assuming that you are not in priority area 3 too from Ealing.
You have good chance in other Slough school - commute part you need to check.
What about SW schools? how much is your DS score ?
Did you check St Clement Dane - it does not have catchment concept for 24 seat and last year cut off was around 224.
Parmiter also have almost 3 seat but score required will be 250+
In all schools you may need to move , I know other people may advice to
not do that but I feel you need to decide that as family that what is best for your family.

Re: Slough results 2017 (2018 entry)
Tinkers and neo - Thanks v much for useful info. SW Herts DS has 269, so may have a small chance there though we are OOC there as well. I am exploring Langley GS only because DS has cousins as erll as DS and DD of friends.
Neo - Thanks for undedstanding about relocation. We will definitely move, so that DS has less than 30 mins direct journey (without changes) to school that he will get.

Re: Slough results 2017 (2018 entry)
269 is really good score for at least 2 school - St Clement Dane and parmiter's school in SW
Are you in priority area 3 for LGS?
Even with Priority area 3 also, it is very tough since any students in Priority area2 above 111 has more priority over you ...
I am curious now - did you not try for QE boys or is Tiffin's Boys in your catchment ?
Best Luck

Re: Slough results 2017 (2018 entry)
Thanks Neo1232. LA allows 6 places since the area is within catchment of tiffins only and hence we are trying to carefully mention only those schools on CAF where we stand some chance.
We are only just within tiffins catchment (it will be one of 6 on our CAF), whose 2nd stage is after CAF deadline . DS has good score for QE, but it may not be our first choice. I cannot specify reasons for that here, because I do not want this Berkshire forum thread hijacked by discussions about other boroughs
