But do you mean 115? can't be 215 as the range was 44-135
Re: Slough results 2017 (2018 entry)
Assuming it is 115 - you have no chance since you are in zone 3 - you can apply for other school though in Slough consortium.

I suspect the Slough schools admissions pages will have that info.
You can (hopefully) find the links to the various admissions pages here.

Re: Slough results 2017 (2018 entry)
Priority Area 1 comprises postcode areas SL3 7, SL3 8, SL3 0 and SL3 9. SL3 7 and SL3 8 are the postcode areas surrounding the school, covering the great majority of the Langley area. SL3 0 covers the area of Colnbrook and Poyle, which is also part of the Borough of Slough. SL3 9 includes the Datchet area. These postcode areas include all the primary schools (maintained schools, academies and free schools) in Langley, Datchet, Colnbrook and Poyle.
Priority Area 2 includes postcodes covering SL0, SL1, SL2, the remainder of SL3, SL4, TW18, TW19 and TW20. UB3, UB4, UB7, UB8 and UB10 are also in this outer area.
Priority Area 3 includes SL5, SL6, SL7, SL8 and SL9; TW3, TW4, TW5, TW7, TW13, TW14 and TW15; UB1, UB2, UB5, UB6 and UB9; HA1, HA2, HA3, HA4, HA5 and HA6; W5, W7 and W13; RG12 and RG42.
The school routinely has more applicants for entry than it has places available. The over-subscription criteria give first priority to applicants with a permanent home address within the local Priority Area 1, who have achieved the eligibility of score of 111 in the 11+ entrance examination. Available places are then prioritised for applicants living in Priority Area 2, and allocated according to the remaining criteria of:
Eligibility for Pupil Premium funding
Children of permanent members of staff
Rank order of performance in the examination
After all eligible applicants from Priority Areas 1 and 2 have been considered, any remaining places will be allocated to children living in Priority Area 3 in rank order of performance in the 11+ examination.
From this wording , it looks like if you are in Area 1 and 2 you just need to score more then 111 and you have more priority over Area 3 even that person has scored max (for example 135). of course only thing we do not know right now is that how many candidates from Area 1 and Area 2 will put LGS in CAF form.

Re: Slough results 2017 (2018 entry)
DD got 119 and we are in Priority Area 3 for Langley. I don't think she has any chances of getting a place there; there would probably be very few seats, if any, left over for priority 3 area candidates. Only the ones with very high scores will probably get into Langley, if they name it on the CAF.

Tinkers wrote:Have you looked at the journey to Herschel from Reading? I believe there’s now a bus service, but it would mean your DD wouldn’t be able to do an after school activities. It’s also going to be a long joinery. Depending on where you are in Reading, there are likely to be good schools locally without resorting to trekking down the A4/M4 everyday.Great!! wrote:my DD got 120..... so pleased .... but not sure what are her chances to gain a place in Herschel living in Reading....
Can anyone help?
Are you also waiting for kendrick results?
yes, we are awaiting Kendrick too... not sure what will happen there... bit anxious now...

DD got 111 but we are OOC.
Any luck for her to get into Upton COurt considering the scores are lower than they were in the past
