In all likelihood it will not be the same.

In previous years the Slough score has been about 9/10 points higher than Reading. It may or may not be similar this year.

You’ll know tomorrow. :D

Thanks a lot Tinkers.

My son has scored 121 in Slough consortium exam and we have only registred for boarding in reading school.

what do you think are the chances for my son to get a boarding place.

I am very very nervous.

Given previous years data and previous years difference between score I would say you have a reasonable chance of a boarding place, but I have no crystal ball and can offer no guarantees.

I think last year 110.xx was the lowest that got a boarding place. In previous years I think all boys that qualified and applied for boarding places got them, as they tried to offer boarding places to those on the day places waiting list.

Given the score difference between Reading and Slough in previous years, assuming it’s much the same, you *should* be fine.

If it follows previous years you’ll be fine, but until tomorrow you will know much better

Tinkers,

I suspect Reading qualifying mark will be between 106-108 both inclusive as the number of cohorts is comparable to Slough Consortium and top mark is 3-4 marks less than last year.
fingers Crossed ;-) This will be new record if it does happen!

Cheers
