I have actually replied to your question twice (including the quote) but for some reason they're not posting?

It's a personal subject due to DD having previous issues!
Why do you ask?

Apologies if all my replies post at once!
Thanks rhiane

rhiane - If you are talking about Progress 8 score & description then word of caution - please do not take number in absolute way -

as you can see Khalsa Secondary Academy which is in Bucks who has Ofsted rating: 3
3 Requires Improvement  and Progress 8 score & description as +1.04 that does not mean that it is better then all GS in Bucks

To be fair to Khalsa, it now has a rating of "good".

Thank you very much for all your replies.
I believe the schools are quite good whether it is upton or langley or Herschel
The major difference is ow kids feel in there.

also provided that we are free to move to different area, commute will not be a problem.
I currently live in Bedford by the way.

Two students from my son's yr7 class quit Reading School recently due to long distance travel. No matter how keen you are and how fantastic the school is, you and your child will struggle if the distance from home is too far. i personally don't think it is feasible...certainly not for long term.
