Congratulations on qualifying.

Based on last years allocations you won't get a place.

Hopefully you have a good back up as a school run for that distance would be almost impossible to cope with for the next 7 years

My DS got a score of 124 and air distance between my house and Upton Court Grammar school is 10.02, but driving distance is 11.7 miles. Is there any chance of he getting an admission in Upton Court or any other grammar school in Slough Consortium ?

Unfortunately no-one can say who will get places & who won't. All you can do is look at the information on the school websites & provided by Slough & you will see what sort of chance you will have. It may or may not be the same as previous years.

With a score of 124 I would have thought you stand a fair chance for Upton going by last years allocations, but every year is different

Depends on which ones you are looking at and if you meet the criteria.

However 30 miles is quite a trek even living near a GWR train station.

DD2 scored 118 in the Slough exam.

She scored 108.93 in the Kendrick exam.

Any CAF strategy advice please?

If we put Kendrick as her first choice (at best borderline/waiting list with her score) and St Bernard’s second will we jeopardise a place at St Bs if she doesn’t get Kendrick?
