CAF query-change of address
Hello. My daughter passed the SCGS 11+.
We have moved recently - still in the Priority area 2 for Langley (our first choice) and the same borough as before, so won't make any significant difference to getting a place or not.
BUT, do I need to let the Grammar schools (that I am applying for) know? If so, how? There doesn't seem to be anywhere on the CAF to put this information. I can't get into the original application. Aaarggh. Can someone help?
Also, how do the schools know my child has passed? Just name/dob info? Presumably the address needs to get cross checked somewhere along the way?
Can anyone help?

Re: CAF query-change of address
I’d contact the LA directly to ask.
Re: CAF query-change of address
My LA is not the same as the Grammar school LA.
Do you mean I should contact mine?

The LA you submit your CAF to.
Re: CAF query-change of address
OK. Thanks
Re: CAF query-change of address
Ok, so my LA (where I submit my CAF) say I should contact the LA of the Grammar schools.
The LA of the Grammar schools says the Grammar schools administer their Yr 7 entry themselves.
The Grammar schools Admissions people are IMPOSSIBLE to get through to!
So just wondering how important this is? Since they would probably use the old address anyway for admissions purposes (which is fine - old and new addresses are only about 1/2 a mile away from each other).
Will they be able to identify my daughter?
Does anybody know if this is a big issue that I should get resolved before submitting the CAF?
