FOI request refused at Kendrick

I see that Kendrick has declined a request to provide a full list of ranked scores including those for OOC for 2019 entry into Year 7. The same message appears on their website. The justification is that the information will be in the public domain in March and that there is no public benefit in access to the data before then. Is this a new approach for this year?
The responses to the same request from Reading School are just an acknowledgement that the request has been received. I suppose once we've filled in the CAF that's job done anyway. Seeing the rankings after that point won't change what went on the form but it would still be interesting.
This information will be published on the school's website in March 2019.
We are not obliged under section 22 of the FOIA to provide information that is intended for future publication. In line with the terms of this exemption, we have considered whether it would be in the public interest for us to provide you with the information ahead of publication, despite the exemption being applicable. In this case, we have concluded that the public interest favours withholding the information.
