Upton court cut off for 2019 entry

Can those who have got a place at Upton please share their childs score & distance from school?
I am surprised that the cut off seems to have gone over 120 for the first time ever!!

I am not that knowledgeable about the Slough GSs as I’m Reading based, but I suspect the changes to Herschel’s admissions and/or the general increase in demand for places due to the birth rate increasing have a part to play.

Just odd that Herschel’s cut off looks like its remaining stable from last year despite changing their policy.
Also, Herschel’s new policy doesnt seem to have affected Langley much either.
Annoying that this had to be the one year where Upton’s cut off shot up.
Any other year and my child would be in!

I suspect the change at Herschel may be balanced by the increased demand for places generally, which is why it might have stayed more or less the same.

Sorry, not much help but a friend's DD was offered Upton with 123 but they're at a feeder school.
Seems Upton is taking Langley's previous position in the popularity stakes before they changed their criteria from rank order to distance!

Hmm just frustrating really.
Unlike Langely, Upton did not email advising of waiting list position.
So will try & find out on Monday.

I have to say that I am surprised it's gone up so much! with the recent changes with Herschel I expected it to go up a bit but not to over 124! Unless of course there is an issue with Spelthorne CAFs?

I don't remember Upton sending out a waiting list email last year? (I may be wrong)
A friend's DD was on the waiting list last year (live's in Spelthorne) I'll ask my DD to contact her friend and ask the mother

DD score 128 got offer from Upton Court
We live quite far by distance ( central London)

Thank you! Thats an amazing score and no doubt you would get in.
I read on another thread that you are hoping to get into HBS, so will u be declining Upton?
