Standardising by age only?
Hello
I know we are not meant to discuss the contents of the paper here. But I have a general question on what happens if the paper is easier than what one might expect of an 11+ standard. Would this mean:
a. All children get higher marks and the required/rank mark for entrance increases?
b. The marks are standardised, so that a fixed percentage getting above the 111 pass mark (for Langley Grammar) remains unchanged?

Re: Standardising by age only?
B is correct but it would mean higher raw marks for a particular standardised score.
