squared paper for maths test

Can anyone tell me if children can use squared paper in the berks maths test, or even if rough paper for working out is allowed at all.

No. The Berks test is a multiple choice answer sheet and the rough paper for working out is plain.
My son said they don't supply squared paper because it is too easy to work sums out because it would all be in line !
