Goodness me - what is the chance of you moving by 31st October and leaving your old property and producing evidence to show all this?

Already surving notice of old property and viewing of slough properties ,
how we should provide evidence in CAF as rental agreement or what

You'll need to check each school's admission rules but you won't get Langley

"Applicants must be resident at that address on the closing date for the Common Application Form on 31st October 2019 and have been continuously resident at the same address since 1st May 2019, ie six months prior to the closing date for the Common Application Form. The school may check the authenticity of the address stated; proof of residence or further information may be requested and must be provided"

Hi :)

Is there a particular part of the admissions process on the Slough website that isn't clear? LAs have got much better over the years at explaining exactly what you need to do - evidence of permanent residency in their area etc - but sometimes they can be a little confusing.

Perhaps if you quote the bit that is causing confusion, forum members (especially those living in Slough, but I'm sure the rest of us will be happy to have a go :)), will be able to clarify the issue.

You will have to prove that you have severed all ties to your previous property and have a solid/legal rental agreement by 31st Oct! I think giving notice now will probably be to late? Seems a bit tight? The schools will check.

I presume you have read the Slough "moving up to secondary school" information?
Home address
The address you give on the form must be your
permanent address on the closing date. You may be
asked for proof of this address.
If there is a change of address after the closing date
please provide proof to the LA by 15 January 2020
for secondary transfers.
If proofs are received after these dates we will consider the change in our next round of allocations.
If we offer a place at a school, and then discover
that the offer was made on fraudulent or
misleading information, (for example, a false
claim to living in a catchment area) and this
denied a place to a child with a stronger claim,
we will withdraw the offer of a place. We can
withdraw the offer even after your child has
started at a new school.

We have already viewed the properties in slough just need to get an agreement for 1 of those in catchemnt ....
and move in before CAF dates as property is immediatly available.

What about your current property? you will almost certainly need to prove that it will be no longer available for you to live in.
What will you do about the rest of Y6 for your DC?

Six months prior address is not applicable for all all Slough schools. I beleive Langley do have this rule but not others, better to check the admission policy, i could not find that clause for any other slough grammar school other than Langley.
