Wokingham council's admission form lists the options below as you add a school to your list. You can click more than one option.
For Reading School is it just #10 or are other options applicable too? For instance we live in Wokingham, so Choice #3 seems applicable as Reading School has an admission zone (rather large, but still). We also kinda want a boys-only school, so Choice #8 is not irrelevant either.

I am not sure whether these choices are consequential at all, so wanted to check before submitting it.

Options
1. I am selecting this school because it is a Faith School (please refer to the school's website for any additional information you may need to submit)
2. Are you claiming exceptional medical or social needs as grounds for admission of your child to this particular school?
3. I believe my child lives in this school's catchment.
4. I believe my child attends a feeder school to this school.
5. I am selecting this school for social reasons.
6. I am selecting this school because of the distance from my child's home to this school
7. I am selecting this school because it is easy to make arrangements for my child to travel to this school
8. I am selecting this school because it is a single sex school.
9. I am selecting this school because __DC__ is a child of a member of staff currently working at this Preferred school for more than 2 years.
10. I believe my child can pass this school's entrance test.
11. I am selecting this school because my child has an aptitude for the school's specialism(s).

There’s no real reason to need to tick these. I think of you needed o go to appeal they might be looked at, but they do not form part of the admissions policy for Reading school.

Tick whichever you want that are applicable, but there’s no need to overthink it.
