Hello, my simplified CAF scenario:
1. SchoolA
2. SchoolB

Question: if on Allocation/Offer day I get offer from SchoolB, do I have to Accept it immediately? Would I, by accepting SchoolB, lose my waiting list opportunity for SchoolA? Or do I have to first decline the offer from SchoolB to be placed on SchoolA waiting list? Any expert input would be greatly appreciated.

If offered school B then accept it and ask to be on the WL for school A

One more question related to waiting list

1. SchoolA
2. SchoolB
3. SchoolC
4. SchoolD

If we offered SchoolB on offer day.Are we going to be waiting list for SchoolC,SchoolD including SchoolA?

Without further interaction with your LA to reactivate your application to schools C and D, you will only go on the waiting list for school A in this scenario. In most areas, being added to the waiting list for schools of a higher ranked preference is automatic, but in some, you have to tell the LA that you want to do this.
