Last year you wouldn’t have got Maiden Erlegh School on allocations day, but probably off the WL.
Given the direct distance between the schools is 3.9 miles, you must be pretty much on the ‘crows’ flight path if you are that distance from both schools.
I don’t have previous years’ distance allocations for Holt to hand (I did somewhere but it’s not a school I follow closely) I see many different WBC school uniforms in my daily travels through LE, but not the quite distinctive Holt ones. I don’t think they often allocate as far as LE. For a number of years they definitely did not allocate outside of catchment (they were oversubscribed from within catchment) and Lower Earley was not in catchment for Holt.
