Hi, we are in a non-catchment area for any grammar school, hence we have decided to move to Reading Boys grammar. But since its a super-selective school with wider catchment, we would like to have a 2nd option grammar school with the same postcode. Heard some parts of Maidenhead would be suitable?? falling into catchment for both Reading boys as well John Hampton (2nd priority catchment) Could anyone advise on the suitable postcodes from Maidenhead ???? Anyone else in the same situation? or recently moved for their catchment?
Your advice and recommendation will be greatly valued. Thanks in advance. x

There are some areas Of Reading school catchment that I think overlap with catchments first GSs in Bucks, but it’s worth checking the allocations distances on the Bucks forum and then add a margin since they seem to be shrinking year on year.
There’s also the Slough GSs, but again you’ll need to check their admissions criteria and previous years allocations (there’s a thread on this at the top of the Berkshire forum) to ensure you pick a suitable area.
