Question regarding standardised score.

What is the highest score in theory?
Are the full standardised scores the same for different schools? If not, what is it for Reading School?

Usually it’s 140/141 for both Slough and Reading, but if your DS has sat at one but opted to share scores don’t expect the scores to be the same. The Slough score is typically 8-10 marks higher depending on where on the range the score is.

If I understand it correctly. In general the highest standardised score in theory are the same.

But the individual standardised score could be different because it will depend on the all candidate's scores in each school.

But why the highest score for Reading is always about 128? not 140?

Because it’s the highest score in theory. In practice the score is based on three separate scores, VR, NVR and maths in two tests. These are separately standardised and weighted, so unless a candidate gets the highest score in all three they won’t get the maximum Mark possible for all three so can’t get the maximum overall theoretical mark, if that makes sense.
