Hello, my DD scored 116 and is at waiting list for Herschel, we live in Reading, will relocating now to Slough (may be nearer to school) will brighten her chance of going up in the waiting list? Thanks for any advice.

My DD has scored 116 for slough and we live in P3 area(Heston) we have opted for Langley and Herschel in the CAF. Today received email from Langley that her waiting list number is 23, and am yet to hear from Hershel! Is 23 a good number to wait !!Any information on this would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Same situation here. DD from Reading is on WL for Herschel. She got into Wally Girls today. But we are waiting for Slough results to make a final decision.

Can I ask what is her WL number for Herschel and Langley(if applicable), my DD was on #6 for Herschel and she was offered a place.

This year Kendrick and Slough scores seem to be skewed. Our waiting list position is more than 40 I think. I seem to have lost that mail but nonetheless its a long shot.

Just checked with Herschel - waiting list position is 17. But I have asked the council not to consider us for Herschel as we don't want to lose Wally Girls place. If we get place in Herschel, I believe lower preference school (Wally G) place is automatically cancelled.

I take it you are intending on moving, otherwise that’s a very long journey everyday to school from Reading.

Yes. If we don't get into Kendrick, we prefer to move to Sutton instead of Slough. Don't want DD to spend half her life in bus/train. Even commuting to Slough daily isn't easy from Reading.

Are you P1 or P2 for kendrick? The WL had typically moved about 6 places most years, but given how the WL now operates, I wouldn’t expect any in P2 to get a place, but P1 girls high up the list might.
